Overview

Love Management Inc is seeking a dedicated Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at the flagship restaurant, Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, located in the Fort Worth Stockyards. The successful candidate will drive the creation of outstanding dining experiences, manage kitchen operations, and uphold the highest food quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of creative menus
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and food production
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Manage inventory control and food management processes
  • Oversee catering events and banquet services
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to foster teamwork
  • Maintain adherence to food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams for exceptional guest experiences

Required skills

  • Extensive culinary experience in fine dining environments
  • Proven supervising experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong skills in food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management
  • Experience in inventory management and cost optimization strategies
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Leadership qualities and excellent team management skills
  • Familiarity with catering operations and dietary department procedures
  • Verifiable references from upscale high volume establishments
  • Local to DFW area
