Overview

The Equipment Wash Technician at MarBorg Industries plays a crucial role in maintaining sanitation equipment by washing, inspecting, and preparing units according to company standards. The technician will also assist with yard duties and preventative maintenance to ensure both equipment and the yard are in good operating condition.

Key responsibilities

  • Pump and pressure wash sanitation equipment
  • Inspect sanitation equipment prior to delivery and upon return
  • Tag and report equipment needing repair
  • Stock portable restrooms with necessary supplies
  • Assist in washing trucks and loading/unloading sanitation equipment
  • Operate a forklift for transport of materials
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow company policies and procedures

Required skills

  • 1 year of related trade experience in service work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively and multitask
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Forklift operation and certification
  • Valid Class C driver's license preferred
