We're honored to be selected by the Department of Energy to receive up to $22.3 million in investment supporting our Nexcast Mini Mill and other breakthrough projects which will steer the aluminum industry toward a greener, decarbonized future.Benefits:Competitive Profit-sharing plan401k Company MatchMedical, dental and vision coverage with generous Health Savings Account Company ContributionCompensation starting at $85,000+The Environmental Coordinator serves as the primary liaison for environmental regulatory requirements and works closely with operations, maintenance, production, and external agencies to maintain compliance and support continuous environmental improvement. Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental permits, including Title V Air Permit requirements.Monitor environmental performance and identify potential compliance deviations.Coordinate corrective actions and maintain documentation for environmental compliance issues.Prepare and submit required environmental reports to regulatory agencies, including CDPHE, EPA, and local authorities.Maintain Air Pollution Emission Notices (APENs) and facility-wide greenhouse gas permits.Coordinate annual and semi-annual environmental reporting requirements.Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs.Serve as the primary coordinator for water permit compliance programs, ensuring all monitoring, testing, reporting, and operational requirements are effectively implemented and maintained.Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) systems and electronic chemical inventories. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field preferred.2-5 years of environmental compliance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.Experience with air permitting, waste management, and environmental reporting.Knowledge of EPA, CDPHE, RCRA, Title V, TRI, Tier II, and GHG reporting requirements preferred.Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting requirements.Ability to interpret permits, regulations, and technical guidance documents.Experience maintaining environmental records and databases.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and environmental data management systems.Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.Experience working with regulatory agencies and environmental contractors is preferredBecause Golden Aluminum thrives on the power of diversity and is committed to an inclusive environment where every individual can thrive through a sense of belonging, respect, and contribution, we are committed to giving every qualified applicant and employee an equal opportunity.Compensation details: 0 Yearly SalaryPIb9bec7c15cac-0817
