Job Description

Overview

As the Engineering Manager at ACE Thermal Systems, you will lead and organize a team of engineers focused on designing, developing, and improving high-performance environmental control systems for aerospace and defense applications. You will oversee projects and processes to meet company design objectives while performing engineering duties both personally and through your team.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and direct a team of engineers in product design and development.
  • Oversee key projects and performance reports.
  • Plan and formulate research and development proposals.
  • Select design concepts and technology for new and existing products.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures.
  • Review and analyze proposals and expenditures.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality managers to improve processes.
  • Direct budget recommendations and monitor production costs.
  • Negotiate contracts with consulting firms for research support.

Required skills

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering or mechanical design.
  • 4+ years of managerial experience leading a team.
  • Proficient in CAD design and analysis tools.
  • Proficient in MS Office software and MS Project.
  • Ability to travel for customer meetings.
  • Ability to work on-site at the Seminole, OK facility.
