Overview

An industrial agricultural equipment manufacturing client of ours is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team. This role is focused on leadership, project management, and process improvement rather than hands-on design work. You will oversee a team of three drafters while ensuring projects move efficiently from Sales through Engineering and into Production. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, collaborating across departments, and building relationships with customers. Job Title: Engineering Manager Location: New Prague, MN Salary: 115-125k + 10% bonus Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three engineering drafters. Manage engineering projects and priorities from concept through production. Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Production to ensure projects stay on schedule. Improve engineering processes, workflows, and project management systems. Serve as a customer-facing engineering resource, supporting project discussions and ensuring customer expectations are met. Monitor project timelines, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused engineering team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, agricultural equipment, or a related industry. Previous leadership or supervisory experience. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with CAD and engineering documentation is preferred, but this is not a primary design role.
