Job Description: About the Opportunity A leading global strategy and economic consulting firm is looking to appoint an experienced Partners to join its growing Energy practice in the US. The firm advises major corporations, investors, utilities, financial institutions, regulators and government bodies on complex strategic, commercial and investment decisions across the global energy sector. The Role You will lead complex client engagements across the energy value chain, working with senior executives, investors and public sector organisations on strategic, commercial and regulatory challenges. Key responsibilities include: Leading multidisciplinary consulting engagements from proposal through delivery. Acting as a trusted adviser to executive leadership teams and investment stakeholders. Developing commercial strategies and providing transaction support for major energy investments. Leading business development activities and expanding key client relationships. Managing and mentoring consulting teams while ensuring exceptional project delivery. Contributing to thought leadership and helping shape the continued growth of the Energy practice.Areas of Expertise The team advises clients across six core service areas: Energy Strategy Transaction Advisory Regulatory & Market Strategy Grid & Resource Planning Transformation, Operations & Performance Improvement Market Analysis & Investment PlanningTypical Projects Projects include: Commercial due diligence and market assessments Investment strategy and capital allocation Energy market modelling and forecasting Portfolio optimisation and asset valuation Business transformation and operating model design Regulatory strategy and policy advisory Energy transition and decarbonisation strategy Infrastructure investment and financing support Expert advisory on complex commercial and regulatory mattersClients The practice works with a broad range of organisations, including: Energy companies Electric and gas utilities Infrastructure investors Private equity firms Financial institutions and lenders Governments and regulators Municipal authorities Power generation and renewable energy developersAbout You We are interested in speaking with experienced consulting leaders who have: Significant strategy or management consulting experience within the Energy sector. Deep knowledge of power, utilities, renewables, energy infrastructure or energy markets. A strong track record of leading large-scale client engagements. Proven business development capabilities and an established industry network with minimum personal sales of $4m per annum Experience managing and developing consulting teams.
