Overview

Incredible Health is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in West Bradenton, FL. This role involves providing urgent medical care to patients with various trauma and medical conditions in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of defense for patients requiring urgent medical care
  • Treat patients suffering from trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions
  • Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
  • Monitor patient health conditions and administer medications and treatments
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment
  • Participate in code blue and emergency situations
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about care plans

Required skills

  • ADN or higher degree in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1+ years of experience in an emergency room setting preferred
  • ACLS, PALS certification preferred
  • Experience with advanced medical equipment
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
