Overview

SPF Screens & Awnings, part of the Hunter Douglas family, is seeking a licensed Electrician Technician in Texas to blend field electrical work with project planning and customer interaction. The role involves installing outlets, performing site measurements, and collaborating with various teams to ensure project success while focusing on delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Install 120V outlets and circuits for motorized screens and awnings
  • Perform on-site measurements to ensure accurate installations
  • Work directly with homeowners to finalize project details
  • Document measurements, photos, and job notes using an iPad/CRM
  • Collaborate with Install, Sales, and QA teams for smooth execution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as needed
  • Deliver a 5-star customer experience on every job

Required skills

  • Active Texas Electrical License
  • Experience with residential electrical work (120V circuits)
  • Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and tech-friendly
  • Clean driving record
