Overview

NOVA Electric & Security Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager in Montvale, New Jersey. The role involves managing ongoing projects, cost changes, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure project success and adherence to budgets.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing project and cost changes while meeting deadlines
  • Estimate man-hours required for installations
  • Create detailed lists of materials needed for projects
  • Evaluate and obtain project change orders
  • Ensure project costs align with customer and business needs
  • Develop relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Respond to customer concerns in a timely manner
  • Review customer plans to create project estimates

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Electrical Estimator or Electrical Operations
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation methods and best practices
  • Ability to interpret complex electrical blueprints and specifications
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Coordination and task prioritization abilities
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PDFs
  • Electrical License (preferred)
