Powerfull Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman for their Santa Barbara, CA projects. The role involves managing the installation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical systems while ensuring safety and efficiency on job sites.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and efficient use of materials on job sites
  • Monitor equipment performance and request necessary maintenance
  • Review and approve work records for employees
  • Adhere to safety standards and ensure accident-free work
  • Train new employees as needed
  • Perform cost estimates and project planning
  • Evaluate and upgrade electrical systems
  • Interpret electrical blueprints and create wiring sketches
  • Supervise and manage apprentice employees

Required skills

  • 5 years of electrical installation and maintenance experience
  • Valid ET Card
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Experience with project management and team supervision
  • Proficient in the use of power and hand tools
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
