Overview

OE Solar is looking for a skilled and dependable Electrical Journeyman to join their team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will hold a valid EE98J license and have strong technical expertise in electrical and solar projects, demonstrating a commitment to safety while working independently or as part of a crew.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and state codes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Perform inspections and testing to ensure compliance and safety standards
  • Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions
  • Install wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, lighting, and control systems
  • Ensure all work meets EE98J licensing and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other trades

Required skills

  • Valid EE98J Electrician License
  • Proven experience as a licensed electrician
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
  • Ability to use electrical tools and testing equipment safely
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
  • OSHA certification
  • Experience supervising apprentices or junior electricians
