Overview

OE Solar is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Journeyman to join their team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will hold a valid EE98J license and possess strong technical expertise, with a focus on safety and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on various electrical and solar projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in compliance with local and state codes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Perform inspections and testing to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions
  • Install wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, lighting, and control systems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other trades

Required skills

  • Valid EE98J Electrician License
  • Proven experience as a licensed electrician
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
  • Ability to use electrical tools and testing equipment safely
  • Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
  • OSHA certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
