Overview

TEAM Group is seeking an Electrical Estimator/Project Coordinator in Marquette, Michigan. This role involves supporting the planning and delivery of electrical construction projects, while serving as a liaison between various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate project estimates, cost analyses, and quotations for electrical construction projects
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and documentation to determine requirements
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Communicate project expectations and updates to clients and stakeholders
  • Assist with procurement activities and vendor coordination
  • Maintain project documentation and reports
  • Support quality control initiatives and ensure compliance with standards
  • Assist with project closeout activities and client handover
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Required skills

  • University Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent education in Electrical Trades, Engineering, Business, or Construction
  • Minimum 2-3 years of estimating or project management experience
  • Experience in the electrical or construction industry
  • Familiarity with Accubid estimating software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn project management and database software
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA regulations
