Overview

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team serving the lightning protection industry. This role involves preparing proposals and analyzing project requirements for commercial construction projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Review commercial construction plans and specifications
  • Prepare accurate proposals for lightning protection and grounding systems
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze project requirements
  • Communicate project scope, exclusions, and pricing with customers
  • Collaborate with project managers and internal teams throughout the estimating process
  • Maintain accurate estimating documentation and records

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial construction estimating experience
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience performing quantity takeoffs from construction drawings
  • Experience with Bluebeam, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Construction Management degree preferred
