Overview

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join a rapidly growing lightning protection company in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves reviewing commercial construction plans, preparing proposals, and collaborating with project managers to ensure accurate estimating of projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Review commercial construction plans and specifications
  • Prepare accurate proposals for lightning protection and grounding systems
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze project requirements
  • Communicate project scope, exclusions, and pricing with customers
  • Collaborate with project managers and internal teams throughout the estimating process
  • Maintain accurate estimating documentation and records

Required skills

  • Commercial construction estimating experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Organizational, planning, and analytical skills
  • Customer relationship management
  • Experience with Bluebeam, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Electrical or lightning protection estimating experience
  • Experience performing quantity takeoffs from construction drawings
