Job Description

Overview

PathWays of the River Valley is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join their Family-Centered Early Support and Services (FCESS) team. This role focuses on providing developmental services to children aged 0 to 3 years, conducting assessments, and coordinating support for families. The position offers a hybrid work model with responsibilities performed both in the family's home and at one of the organization's offices.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide developmental services for children under age three
  • Conduct assessments in areas such as motor, communication, cognition, and social/emotional skills
  • Maintain direct service for a designated number of children and keep current case notes and files
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and transdisciplinary meetings
  • Coordinate 6-month reviews, annual evaluations, and new IFSPs for assigned children
  • Act as a liaison between children, families, and community agencies

Required skills

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood education, psychology, social work, or related fi
  • Functional knowledge of support strategies for children from birth to age 2
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with children aged 0 to 3
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel within Sullivan and Lower Grafton County
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
