McLane Company, Inc. is seeking dedicated CDL-A drivers for their operations in Northfield, MN. With over 130 years in the industry, McLane emphasizes reliability and safety, providing drivers with competitive pay and a supportive work environment. This role focuses on delivering products safely while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destinations, adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery and exceptions.
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of safety protocols
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Experience with vehicle inspection and logistics management
