Overview

Transdev is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join their team in Elmira, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe, comfortable transportation for passengers while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations
  • Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding and disembarkation
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance issues and maintaining cleanliness
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement and emergency response preparedness

Required skills

  • 21 years or older
  • Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and drug testing protocols
