Overview

Transdev is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to manage safe and comfortable transportation services in Elmira, NY. This role requires adherence to professional standards, strict safety protocols, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute routes and schedules while following safety protocols and traffic regulations.
  • Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers during boarding and disembarkation.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
  • Uphold company policies, including emergency response preparedness and seat belt enforcement.

Required skills

  • Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and vehicle inspections
