Overview

Transdev is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join their team in Elmira, NY. The role involves ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for passengers while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers during boarding, rides, and disembarkation.
  • Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
  • Uphold company policies, including seat belt enforcement and emergency response preparedness.

Required skills

  • 21 years or older
  • Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules
  • Ability to pass DOT drug testing and physical requirements
