Overview

Hampton Inn Albany - Western Ave is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead ongoing sales efforts. The role requires a self-motivated leader who excels in customer service and negotiation, with a strong sales background and the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive room revenue and corporate bookings
  • Lead all sales activities, including market positioning and key account development
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and inventory management
  • Oversee all sales channels, including transient, corporate, group, and consortia
  • Maintain relationships with local businesses and tourism boards to maximize visibility and bookings
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows
  • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve financial goals

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in hotel sales
  • At least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Prior experience with Hilton brands preferred
  • Strong understanding of revenue management
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred
