Job Description

Overview

The Director of Maintenance & Reliability at Rise Baking Company will build and lead a new maintenance reliability organization to enhance asset management across all manufacturing sites. This role requires collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, and Capital Planning to ensure effective reliability efforts that lead to improved productivity and operational resilience.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and lead a company-wide Maintenance Reliability organization
  • Develop and govern asset strategies for critical equipment
  • Implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance standards
  • Enhance maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution discipline
  • Own the enterprise CMMS strategy and standards
  • Lead the development of maintenance and reliability KPIs to drive improvements
  • Provide oversight for capital projects and major equipment overhauls
  • Train and mentor Maintenance Managers and reliability resources
  • Ensure reliability practices meet food safety and quality standards
  • Stay updated on reliability technologies and maintenance best practices

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in maintenance or reliability leadership
  • Experience with multi-site reliability programs
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance methods
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing performance metrics
  • Expertise in CMMS systems and maintenance planning
  • Ability to develop equipment rebuild and life cycle strategies
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills
