Overview

Rise Baking Company, LLC is seeking a Director of Maintenance & Reliability to build and lead a company-wide maintenance reliability organization across all manufacturing sites. The role will serve as a strategic partner to key operations and planning departments, ensuring that reliability initiatives enhance productivity and operational resilience while managing maintenance and capital costs effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and lead a new enterprise Maintenance Reliability organization.
  • Develop and deploy standardized reliability operating models and enterprise asset strategies.
  • Own the enterprise CMMS strategy, ensuring data integrity and effective use of maintenance data.
  • Lead the development and deployment of maintenance and reliability KPIs.
  • Provide technical oversight for capital projects and major overhauls.
  • Build capability through training and mentoring of maintenance teams.
  • Partner with operations and finance to measure the impact of reliability initiatives.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in maintenance or reliability leadership.
  • Experience with multi-site reliability programs and enterprise asset management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing performance metrics and maintenance cost drivers.
  • Expertise in reliability methodologies including RCM, TPM, and predictive maintenance.
  • Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance planning.
  • Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills for engagement with teams and stakeholders.
