Job Description

Overview

The Director of Finance at CFS will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and capital allocation for a well-established, growing organization. This leadership position will closely collaborate with executive leadership to drive initiatives that support growth and optimize the financial performance of the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead financial modeling and underwriting for new sites, expansions, relocations, and closures
  • Evaluate site economics, including build-out costs and ROI/IRR analysis
  • Monitor real estate portfolio performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Track actual performance versus pro forma assumptions and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with executive leadership on market expansion and M&A activities
  • Build scalable financial models for volume, revenue, and profitability
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and capital deployment activities
  • Ensure compliance related to site openings and asset redeployment
  • Translate complex financial analysis into actionable recommendations
  • Mentor and develop finance team members and enhance financial processes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership responsibility
  • Strong background in financial modeling and capital analysis
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership in complex, growth-oriented environments
