Job DescriptionJob DescriptionKinghaven Counseling Group is the second largest private multidisciplinary behavioral health outpatient provider in Greater Houston, Texas. Our clinicians include licensed and Board-Certified psychiatrists and psych NPs, Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) & LMFT and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors (LCDC), and a team dedicated to behavioral health progression for individuals on the autism spectrum headed by BCBAs.Kinghaven Counseling Group offers medical insurance, dental insurance and 401K.Position Summary:The individual in this position has extensive leadership knowledge in Case Management and must have occupied similar position with at least two years Candidate will have overall responsibility for Clinic utilization performance improvement and operational management of the Case Management Department to promote effective utilization of clinic resources, ensure processes support appropriate reimbursement for services rendered, support efficient patient throughout, and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to case management services.Duties and Tasks:Top level position, Ability to head, create, develop program in a departmentWill head and develop the programUtilization Management supporting medical necessity and denial preventionTransition Management promoting appropriate continued care, patient referrals and patient satisfaction. Care Coordination by demonstrating throughout efficiency while assuring care is the right sequence and at appropriate level of care. Compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, TJC accreditation standards and Kinghaven Counseling Group Inc policy. Education provided to physicians, patients, families and caregivers. Manage department operations to assure effective throughout and reimbursement for services provided. Lead the implementation and oversight of the Clinic Utilization Management Plan using data to drive clinic utilization performance improvement. Ensure medical necessity review processes are completed accurately and in compliance with all regulations and KCG policy, Ensure timely and effective patient transition and planning to support efficient patient throughput. Implement and monitor processes to prevent payer disputes. Develop and provide physician education and feedback on clinic utilization. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and TJC accreditation standard. Other duties as assigned.Position Qualification: Required qualifications include an active license in the mental or behavioral classification with at least two years of clinic/hospital case management leadership experience preferred. Experience with utilizing EMR systems preferred. Required skills include demonstrated organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead and coordinate activities of a diverse group of people in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and computer literacy.
