Overview

The Director, Interventional Radiology at OU Health will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the Interventional Radiology operations, both clinical and non-clinical. This role involves ensuring alignment with institutional priorities, leading recruitment and retention initiatives, and driving process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct clinical and non-clinical operations of the Interventional Radiology service line
  • Oversee staffing operations, including recruitment and retention efforts
  • Support service line expansion with new procedure rooms
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and enhance key performance metrics
  • Report to the Associate Vice President, Procedural Services

Required skills

  • BSN and Master's degree
  • Active RN license or equivalent certification (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or ARRT registration)
  • Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in relevant fields
  • Experience in multidisciplinary adult diagnostic, interventional radiology, or interventional cardiology services
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in team engagement
