Overview

Olymel is seeking a Director of Asset Management to join their dynamic team in Boucherville, Quebec. This role is focused on driving innovation, quality, and sustainability in operations while fostering a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing operational management and implementing integrated asset management strategies across various facilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an integrated strategy for the management of real estate and industrial assets.
  • Establish a structured multi-year planning for infrastructure maintenance.
  • Supervise operational management of buildings, warehouses, and accommodations for foreign workers.
  • Implement and optimize maintenance management software across plants.
  • Produce strategic performance reports including KPIs, CAPEX, asset status, and technical risks.
  • Guide technical teams and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance, safety, and site performance.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management; MBA or asset management training is a plus.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role with team supervision and project management.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software (GMAO), CAPEX planning, budget management, and asset lifecycle management
  • Strong leadership skills, technical rigor, and strategic vision.
