Job Description: Job Description Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Boonton, NJ (Morris County) $30 Hourly Rate Seeking a versatile DSP to support a client in Boonton, NJ. This is a full-time role. Our ideal candidate is an experienced DSP who will truly get to know the client both personally and professionally. As a DSP, you're an advocate, coach, and above all - a friend. You understand the importance of the client being in control and always meet her at her level while supporting her. Mondays 9am-5pm Tuesdays 9am-5pm Wednesdays 9am-9pm Thu OFF Fridays 9am-6pm Saturdays 11am-6pm Sundays OFF Hours: Up to 40 hours/week Position Summary: Provide direct support to a female client in her home and community. The role involves assisting with all activities of daily living (ADLs), personal hygiene, and facilitating regular community outings. Responsibilities: Assist with all ADLs and personal hygiene routines Transport client into the community for activities (shopping, restaurants, errands) Ensure client safety and engagement throughout the day Maintain professional communication with family/guardian• Must have experience with suppositories which will be given every other day Transfer assistance Requirements: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (must have adequate trunk and back seat space; no pickup trucks due to height). Vehicle does NOT need to be wheelchair accessible (client uses a travel chair) Must have experience with suppositories, which will be given every other day. Must have experience with transfer assistance. Must have at least 1 year of experience as a DSP Ability to assist with transfers and mobility support Ability to commit to a consistent, long-term schedule
