Job Description

Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Rudolph Community & Care, you will provide essential person-centered support to individuals facing mental illness and developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes hands-on care and crisis intervention, with a strong commitment to the well-being of the individuals served.

Key responsibilities

  • Provides direct care to person-served
  • Monitors and maintains safety and health of individuals
  • Interacts with individuals receiving services
  • Administers medication
  • Maintains home and needs of client by cooking, cleaning, etc.
  • De-escalates interfering behavior
  • Participates in activities and social experiences within the community
  • Shares behavioral, health, and program concerns with supervisor
  • Supports personal hygiene and grooming, including bathing and toileting
