Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they work towards living independent and fulfilling lives. The role involves providing compassionate support in a safe environment while promoting community engagement and personal goal achievement.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living skills and personal care
  • Support community engagement and recreational activities
  • Prepare meals and maintain a clean home environment
  • Transport individuals to appointments and community activities
  • Administer medications as directed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and advocate for individuals served
  • Promote dignity, respect, and person-centered support
