As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Beacon Specialized Living Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and autism. Key responsibilities

  • Encourage and guide individuals throughout the day to meet their goals.
  • Create a safe and trust-filled environment for residents.
  • Prepare meals according to dietary specifications and assist with housekeeping tasks.
  • Transport individuals to appointments and advocate on their behalf.
  • Administer medications as prescribed.
  • Remain awake and accessible for homes requiring 24/7 care.
  • Supervise individuals with personal care, life skills, and social activities.
