Overview

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician Apprentice in Luverne, Minnesota, to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This role offers on-the-job training for individuals who are mechanically inclined, and no prior experience is necessary.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist customers with roadside services
  • Learn and perform preventative maintenance services
  • Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs
  • Conduct air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs
  • Carry out wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
  • Execute air system diagnostics and repairs
  • Diagnose and repair air brakes and charging systems
  • Utilize basic computer diagnostics and replace auxiliary components
  • Look up and acquire parts
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night
