Overview

As a Diesel Technician Apprentice at Love's Travel Stops, you will work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on providing excellent customer service while learning essential mechanical skills. Key responsibilities

  • Assist customers with roadside services
  • Learn and perform preventative maintenance services
  • Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs
  • Manage air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs
  • Execute wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
  • Perform air system diagnostics and repairs
  • Carry out air brakes diagnostics and repairs
  • Handle charging system diagnostics and repairs
  • Utilize basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
  • Lookup and acquire necessary parts
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night
