You'll be:Assembling, grooming, maintaining, and repairing tooling efficiently and safelyRemoving and installing dies from presses, including press setup and troubleshootingUtilizing quality assurance practices and metrology equipment to ensure product conformity to design specificationsGrinding tooling and performing alignment checks on dies to meet specifications and ensure correct alignment of cutting stationsStoring die tooling efficiently upon receiptConsulting with management regarding potential tooling modifications and recording changesMaintaining a clean and safe work area through good housekeeping practicesCompleting all required documentation accurately and on timeRecording die maintenance and preventive maintenance in the Die Log Book in a timely mannerThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)Are experienced in a manufacturing environment, particularly with tooling, die maintenance, and press operationsPossess strong attention to detail and quality assurance skillsAre able to work the 1st shift on a full-time basisDemonstrate good communication and documentation skillsValue workplace safety and cleanlinessOnce you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
