Overview

One Stop Recruiting is looking for a licensed Dental Hygienist to join their team in Lexington, Kentucky. This full-time position involves providing preventive dental care and patient education in a clinical setting, with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule and supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform dental prophylaxis (cleanings) for patients
  • Provide individualized oral hygiene education and preventive care guidance
  • Monitor and document oral health and periodontal conditions
  • Take dental X-rays as directed by the supervising dentist
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments according to safety protocols
  • Assist with scheduling and documentation related to patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
  • Follow established clinical policies and infection control procedures

Required skills

  • Current and unrestricted Dental Hygienist license in any U.S. state or territory
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Knowledge of dental hygiene practices and patient care procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Prior experience preferred but not required
