Job Description

Overview

The Data Analyst/Quality Assurance Assistant Director at Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha (APM) is responsible for collecting, organizing, and interpreting data to support decision-making across the organization. This full-time position requires on-site work in Philadelphia and focuses on developing business intelligence dashboards, performing data analysis, and collaborating with various departments to enhance data-driven processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop dashboards for automated access to performance metrics
  • Perform ad hoc queries and prepare reports for various stakeholders
  • Provide data support for Plan of Improvement projects
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into a data warehouse
  • Assist in data acquisition, collection, and corrections
  • Present analytical results and visualizations to management
  • Work with the Quality Assurance Team on advanced analytical techniques
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of work/internship experience, or 5+ years without a degree
  • Expert proficiency with SQL
  • Experience with R or Python preferred
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Proficiency with report generation and ETL software tools
  • Proficiency with visual analytics software like SAP, Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos, or Microsoft Power BI
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
