Overview

The Customer Support & Service Parts Sales Representative at RIX Industries is responsible for the quoting, sale, delivery, and invoicing of customer spare parts. This role involves maintaining documentation and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide customer quotes via phone and email
  • Address customer requests and orders in a timely manner
  • Assist customers in identifying part numbers from technical documentation
  • Track and expedite customer sales orders when required
  • Correspond with Planning and Supply Chain personnel regarding purchase orders
  • Participate in cross training within the Customer Service Department
  • Ensure compliance with export control requirements
  • Maintain and update standard product pricing
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Adhere to company rules, policies, and safety procedures

Required skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of data entry experience
  • Proficient in using various software applications
  • Ability to read and understand contracts and technical manuals
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship or qualified U.S. Person
  • Customer service experience in a high-volume environment
  • Experience with Infor CSI ERP software
  • Basic calculation skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various movements
