Job Description

Overview

TriStar Centennial Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a critical care intensivist to join their team in Nashville, Tennessee. The position involves delivering care to a variety of critical care patient populations while participating in a collaborative and supportive environment focused on physician well-being and professional development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care in intensive care settings for various patient populations
  • Participate in block scheduling, working 15 shifts per month, with a mix of days and nights
  • Collaborate with a team of 3 MDs and 3 APPs during the day and 1 MD and 2 APPs at night
  • Engage in continuous medical education and research opportunities
  • Teach Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine residents in the Medical Surgical ICU

Required skills

  • Board certified or eligible in Critical Care
  • Ability to obtain a TN License
  • Experience with critical care patient populations including cardiac and neuro
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork focus
  • Knowledge in critical care medicine specialties like Nephrology, Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, and Eme
