Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic credit union team. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of HR functions and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for new employees- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational goals- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies- Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data management- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement- Assist in payroll processing and compensation administration- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee recognition and engagement activitiesSkills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field -SHRM certification - Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably within financial services or credit unions- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
