Overview

Tiger Fuel Company is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to oversee creditworthiness evaluation, optimize accounts receivable performance, and implement credit and collections processes. This role will be pivotal in protecting company assets and ensuring effective credit management strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness using financial analysis and credit bureau data
  • Establish and maintain credit limits and payment terms based on risk profiles
  • Continuously monitor customer credit exposure and adjust limits proactively
  • Assess industry-specific risks and incorporate them into credit decisions
  • Design and implement structured collection strategies
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging trends and key metrics
  • Perform customer account analysis and reconciliations
  • Lead collection efforts on high-risk and escalated accounts
  • Collaborate with billing and cash application teams to resolve disputes
  • Manage legal recovery process for delinquent accounts

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in credit or financial risk management
  • Experience in managing commercial and wholesale credit environments
  • Proven experience with legal recovery processes for delinquent accounts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
