Overview

Tiger Fuel Company is looking for an experienced Credit Manager to enhance asset protection by assessing customer creditworthiness, optimizing accounts receivable, and implementing effective credit and collection processes. The role requires a proactive approach to monitoring credit exposure and designing collection strategies in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate creditworthiness of customers using financial analysis and credit bureau data
  • Establish and maintain credit limits and payment terms based on risk profiles
  • Monitor customer credit exposure and adjust limits or terms as needed
  • Assess industry-specific risks and incorporate them into credit decisions
  • Design and implement structured collection strategies
  • Monitor AR aging trends and key metrics for continuous improvement
  • Perform routine customer account analysis and reconciliations
  • Lead collection efforts on high-risk accounts, negotiating payment plans
  • Coordinate with billing and cash application teams to resolve disputes
  • Manage legal recovery process for delinquent accounts
  • Promote the company culture by building strong relationships

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CCE or CCRA preferred
  • 5-8 years of experience in credit, accounts receivable, or financial risk management
  • Direct experience in managing commercial credit environments
  • Proven experience with legal recovery processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
