Overview

The Corporate Accounting Manager will lead key accounting functions within a growing company in Sunrise, FL. This role combines hands-on operational involvement with strategic oversight, requiring strong leadership skills and technical accounting expertise in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Partner cross-functionally with finance and operational teams
  • Assist with audits and regulatory reporting
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working within mid to large-size organizations
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
