Overview

Kettering Health Network is seeking a Cook for their Culinary/Nutrition department in Centerville, Ohio. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and seasoning food for patients, employees, and guests while adhering to safety and nutrition guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Cook and season food following established recipes
  • Prepare and store food in compliance with HACCP principles and applicable food codes
  • Manage food handling equipment and ensure cleanliness
  • Complete required paperwork accurately, including recipes and production sheets
  • Practice proper hand hygiene during food preparation
  • Respond to internal and external customers collaboratively
  • Monitor food storage for safety and compliance with guidelines

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED
  • One year of cooking/baking experience
  • Ability to read and write in English
