Overview

Kettering Health is seeking a Cook for its Culinary/Nutrition team in Dayton, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and seasoning food for patients, employees, and guests, while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and established recipes.

Key responsibilities

  • Cooks and seasons food for various clients following established recipes.
  • Prepares and stores food in accordance with HACCP principles and food codes.
  • Uses, cleans, and cares for kitchen equipment and work areas.
  • Manages paperwork related to recipes and production sheets.
  • Follows hand hygiene and food safety procedures.
  • Responds to internal customers to promote collaboration.
  • Monitors food storage and temperature control, ensuring correct dating and usage.
