Overview

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician in Hebron, Ohio. This role offers an opportunity to advance your skills in a high-growth industry, focusing on the maintenance and repair of various industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as electric motors, pneumatic systems, and conveyor systems
  • Program Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and Vision Systems
  • Utilize knowledge of RS Logix 500 and 5000 for programming
  • Engineer MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) improvements

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of electrical and mechanical experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of PLC programming and troubleshooting ladder logic
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
