Overview

The Controls Engineering Supervisor will lead a team focused on the design and optimization of automation and control systems in a manufacturing setting. This role requires strong leadership abilities and technical expertise to manage projects and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Oversee design, installation, and commissioning of control systems
  • Integrate PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and automation tools
  • Troubleshoot complex control system issues
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and safety teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Required skills

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls, or related field
  • 5+ years controls engineering experience
  • 2+ years leadership experience
  • Strong PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
  • Experience with SCADA and HMI systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
