Job Description

Overview

The Controller at GOLDEN MANUFACTURING INC will oversee all accounting and finance functions while providing strategic financial guidance. This role is critical for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and cash flow, ensuring alignment with the company's growth and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise accounting and finance staff, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Develop and maintain rolling forecasts for revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of budgetary control systems.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls over financial reporting and cash management.
  • Prepare and review financial documents and operational progress reports.
  • Confer with management and staff to discuss issues and resolve problems.
  • Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and relationships with financial partners.

Required skills

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP compliance.
  • Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Strong spreadsheet and analysis skills.
  • 10-15+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
