Overview

Taylor Lightning Protection is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead and manage lightning protection installation projects in Miami, Florida. This role emphasizes ownership and the ability to make an impact while working on diverse projects across various industries, including healthcare and data centers.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage lightning protection installation projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate with GCs, engineers, and trades to keep projects running smoothly
  • Own project schedules, budgets, materials, and subcontractor performance
  • Be hands-on in the field, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Review drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation
  • Identify risks early and solve problems proactively
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Champion a safety-first culture

Required skills

  • 3+ years of construction project management experience
  • Knowledge of NFPA 780, UL 96A, grounding, and bonding practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs
  • Experience managing multiple projects and crews
  • Familiarity with Procore, MS Project, or similar tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • OSHA 30 certification (required)
  • LPI or UL certifications are a plus
