Overview

CFS is seeking a Billing Specialist in San Antonio, TX, to manage the full billing cycle for construction projects. This role involves working closely with project managers and clients to ensure billing accuracy and support meaningful engineering and infrastructure projects within a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the full billing cycle from setup through invoicing and revisions
  • Review contracts, change orders, and supporting documentation for billing accuracy
  • Prepare and issue invoices in multiple formats
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to resolve billing questions or discrepancies
  • Maintain organized billing records, including proposals, job setups, and documentation
  • Participate in billing reviews and ensure deadlines are met

Required skills

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (5+ years in billing or accounting)
  • Experience with project-based billing, ideally in construction
  • Understanding of billing workflows and shared services environments
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and accounting systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-moving environment
