Overview

The Patch Group, LLC is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to oversee concrete field operations in Lafayette, Louisiana. The role requires a dedicated professional who can manage various tasks under pressure while focusing on quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with managing and scheduling subcontractors, suppliers, and employees
  • Layout site work based on review of drawings and specifications
  • Maintain safe working practices and conditions
  • Oversee concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing
  • Evaluate labor and materials required for different stages of concrete projects
  • Resolve problems affecting project quality and completion
  • Consult blueprints to ensure accurate placement of concrete structures
  • Delegate tasks to concrete laborers and provide guidance
  • Maintain records of hours worked and materials used
  • Ensure proper erection and dismantling of formwork and shoring
  • Inspect completed concrete work and instruct laborers on corrections
